This photo was taken in Chiba urban greening botanical garden.

キナリデザインの立川です。
こちらは先日訪れた千葉市都市緑化植物園内の、ノウゼンカズラです。
今回は、様々な生垣をご紹介しようと思います。

First of all, this hedge is made with Euonymus japonicus ‘Aureovariegatus’.
If you look around carefully, you will find it easily in a town.
まずはこちら。
キンマサキの生垣です。
割とよく見かける種類です。

Next one is Fire thorn.
As the name of it, it has a lot of thorn.
お次はトキワサンザシです。
別名ピラカンサスとも。
とげがあるので、防犯にもなりそうです。

This is the winged spindle tree.
Red leaves are very beautiful in Autumn.
こちらはニシキギ。
紅葉時期はとてもきれいな赤に。

Sweet autumn clematis is blooming in the Summer.
仙人草は真夏に爽やかな白い花を咲かせます。

Ficus thunbergii 's leaves are not only green but yellow and red mixed.
こちらはヒメイタビの生垣。
若葉は赤や黄色も混ざってきれい。

Finally, this one is Clematis apiifolia.
The flower looks similar to Sweet autumn clematis but the leaves shape is different.
仙人草によく似た花を咲かせる、小ボタンヅルです。
違いは葉っぱの形。
学名にClematisとあるのは、ギリシャ語のKlemaが語源だそうです。
